We believe in the fundamental truths of our faith and guidance of God in our lives and actions. We value the need to seek the Lord through prayer and reading the Bible. We believe in one God, the Father almighty,

who made heaven and earth and everything in it.

 

We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord.

He is truly God and truly human.

For us and for our salvation,

he came down from heaven by the Holy Spirit,

was born of the Virgin Mary,

lived among us,

suffered and died on a cross under Pontius Pilate.

He was buried, and on the third day he rose again.

He went up to heaven and sits with the Father.

One day he will come again in glory

to judge the living and the dead,

and his kingdom will never end.

 

We believe in the Holy Spirit,

the Lord who gives life,

who is worshiped with the Father and the Son,

and who works through the prophets and the church.

 

We believe God’s people are one family.

We believe there is one baptism.

We believe only God forgives sins.

We believe our bodies will be raised,

and we will live with God forever.
